Jennifer Lopez spend a few days in Las Vegas, NV earlier this month taping new episodes of American Idol and fell so in love with the Cirque du Soleil show The Beatles LOVE that she went back to see the show again with family and friends last night on New Year’s Eve. J. Lo flew in their closest family and friends for the 7pm show last night and said goodbye to 2010 with the music of The Beatles.

I understand that J. Lo and Marc were joined at the show by Jen’s mother Guadalupe, her BFF Leah Remini and Marc’s sons Cristian and Ryan. The group was spied sippin’ on bottles of Veuve Clicquot champagne and generally had a fun time together. After the show, J. Lo and Marc sneaked for for NYE dinner with Lance Bass … which sounds like a perfectly fun way to enjoy the last hours of the year. 2011 has the potential to be a big year for Jennifer … as a new judge on American Idol, she will be thrust back into the limelight once again. Will she sink or will she swim. It won’t be long before we find out. At least she got to enjoy a heaping dose of LOVE as she bid farewell to 2010 and hello to 2011.

On Tuesday I posted my Top Albums of 2010 and yesterday I was planning to post my list of my fave films of the year … but I had to push back one day so I could see one more film to determine if it was worthy of making my Top 10 list. And so, without further ado, here is my personal list of the Top Movies of 2010.

Number 10 — Piranha 3D:

The B-Movie was back this year and it came in the form of the hilariously silly yet entirely entertaining film Piranha 3D. No movie this year had more blood, boobs and severed penis than Piranha 3D … which, of course, means that the film should be lauded in some small way. While the serious, well-acted, well-written, incredibly creative films will be honored by the big movie award ceremonies next year, I think there is something to be said for the silly “popcorn movies” that manage to entertain for 90 minutes in the most frivolously fun way. Piranha 3D is no cinematic masterpiece … but it’s a damn good time at the movies … and it deffo made my list of fave films for 2010.

Due to the complications stemming from the troubled Broadway production of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, director Julie Taymor has canceled an upcoming speaking engagement at a New York Times event in which she was to be interviewed by staffer Patrick Healy!

According to a press representative:

"With the changes to the Spider-Man production schedule, Julie will be deep in rehearsals and will not be available to participate."

Somehow, we think there's a little more to it than that!

We wish we were joking about this!

This morning, Amber Portwood, one of the stars of Teen Mom, was ordered to appear before the Madison County magistrate for questioning after she was released on bail.

Now, lets make sure you get all the facts straight. This is a girl who got pregnant at 16, had a baby, was found by MTV and thrown on the air to give a "real" look at teenage motherhood. During the taping of an episode, she lost it and beat the hell out of her baby daddy, in front of her child. The footage aired on television and chaos ensued. She's now booked on two felony charges and a misdemeanor for domestic battery. This morning, she was released on bail.

Now, during her questioning, she was asked to provide her occupation and salary. She replied to the judge that she's a “television personality,” but then had her lawyer object to her having to state her salary. The judge insisted and that's when the world learned that the reality star now makes more money than most hard-working Americans, simply for being on television.

We can't imagine how this girl makes so much, yet still lives the way she does. Hope Leah has a college fund set up!
